A total of six firms have submitted bids for Khora-Makanpur water supply scheme (WSS) in Ghaziabad district under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. These are Tirupati Cement Products, Geo Miller and Company Private Limited, L C Infra Project Private Limited, S. B. E. Engineering and Infrastructure Private Limited, EMS Limited and Nalanda Engicon Private Limited. Bids for the same were invited by the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam in August 2024.

The scope of work includes soil investigation, engineering (hydraulic, structural design as required), procurement of all labour and material, laying of 93.7 km distribution network, construction of clear water rising main (CWR) of different capacities, water supply house connections, laying of gravity main from existing CDP at Chhijarsi, sector 62, Noida to proposed CWR, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and other related works including three months trial run, one year defect liability period (DLP) and two years Operation and Maintenance (O&M).

The work is likely to be completed in 24 months at an estimated cost of Rs 1,375.49 million.
