M/s Laxmi Constructions has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for development of Amalner water supply scheme (WSS) in Jalgaon under the Maharashtra Suvarn Jayanti Nagarotthan Maha-Abhiyan. The firm quoted an amount of Rs 1,647.45 million. Besides, Vijyoti Construction Private Limited and Laxmi Civil Engineering Services Private Limited emerged as L2 and L3 bidders by quoting amounts of Rs 1,695.74 million and Rs 1,743 million, respectively. Bids for the same were invited by the Amalner Municipal Council in August 2024.
The scope of work includes working survey, construction of intake well, jackwell, pump house, raw water rising main, 28 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), 211.52 km distribution network, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and all other related works including trial run.
The work is likely to be completed in 24 months.
