The Joint Venture (JV) of Balaji Construction Company and RPP lnfra Projects Limited has received the work order for a contract worth Rs 3,658.52 million for implementation of the Ajmer Rural, Arain and Silora Block Water Supply Augmentation Project in Rajasthan under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in March 2025.

The scope of work involves retrofitting work for providing water supply through FHTC as per JJM guidelines in 202 main habitations and 355 other habitations of Ajmer Rural, Arain and Silora Blocks of District Ajmer from Bisalpur dam system including construction of  clear water transmission main of length 158.30 km, 10 clear water reservoirs, five pump houses, rising main of length 231.6 km, cluster distribution system of length 281.61 km, village distribution system of length 982.38 km and 25,942 household tap connections etc., including operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years.

The project includes a defect liability period (DLP) of 1 year.

The work is likely to be completed in 20 months.
