The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved a water supply project for Guntur under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0.
The scope of project includes construction of filtration facility near Gorantla village. The facility to be developed on a 16-acre land aims to meet the increased water supply demand to the municipality incluing 10 years Operation and Maintenance (O&M).
The project will be implemented on hybrid annuity mode (HAM) at an estimated cost of Rs 3,300 million.
