A total of 11 firms have submitted bids for strengthening and rehabilitation of the Kekri-Sarwar water supply scheme (WSS) and water production system of Ajmer district from Bisalpur Dam Package -III under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Rajasthan. These are Akviksha, Bhoorathnom Construction Company Private Limited,  Civet Projects Private Limited, GKC Projects Limited, GVPR Engineers Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T), GA Infra Private Limited, NCC Limited, Raghava Constructions (India) Private Limited, SPML Infra Limited and Vishnu Prakash R Punglia Limited . Bids for the same were invited by the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan in September 2024.

The scope of work includes construction of a water treatment plant (WTP) at Kekri and clear water transmission system from WTP Kekri to Nasirabad of clear water rising main (CWR) including one year defect liability period (DLP) and 10 years Operation and Maintenance (O&M).

The work is likely to be completed in 20 months at an estimated cost of Rs 4,170.4 million.
