Nilesh Kumar Infracon Private Limited has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for development of urban water supply scheme (WSS) in Jamtara, Jharkhand. The firm quoted an amount of Rs 1,123.45 million. Besides, Shriram EPC Limited emerged as L2 bidder by quoting amount of Rs 1,323.51 million. Bids for the same were invited by the Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company Limited in July 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of intake well, pump house, raw water rising main, 8.5 million litres per day (mld) water treatment plant (WTP), clear water rising main, two elevated service reservoir (ESRs), 98.77 km long distribution network and 7860 house service connections and other related work including five years Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and three months trial run.
The work is likely to be completed in 12 months.
