The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for implementation of Gurugram Water Supply (GWS) Channel Upgradation Project in Haryana is likely to be prepared soon.

The project is likely to address the district’s long-pending water management and drainage challenges.

The scope of work involves converting the open canal into a covered pipeline, thus preventing water loss due to leakage and evaporation while also maintaining water quality.

As of March 2025, the estimated cost of the project was Rs 30 billion.
