The joint venture (JV) of M/s  M P Agarwalla and BMK Private Limited has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for implementation of Golaghat 24×7 Drink from Tap Water Supply Scheme. The firm quoted an amount worth Rs 1,207.8 million. Bids for the same were invited by the Assam Urban Infrastructure Development And Finance Corporation (AUIDFC) in July 2025.

Macrocosm Builders emerged as the L2 bidder quoting an amount worth Rs 1,227.17 million, Besides, Rean Watertech Private Limited had also submitted bids for the same but was technically rejected. 

The scope of the project includes construction of a water treatment plant (WTP) of 6.7 mld capacity, raw water pumping main of length 2.04 km, clear water pumping main of length 4.42 km, distribution network of length 109.33 km and 11,153 metered house connections.

The project is funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) under Assam Urban Sector Development Project.

The work is likely to be completed in 30 months and includes a 10 year operation and maintenance (O&M) period.
