The Government of Haryana inaugurated the Chandu Budhera (Gurugram) Water Supply Project (Unit 4) on July 16, 2025. 

The scope of work involves augmentation of WTP by construction of a 100 million litre per day (mld) capacity Unit-4 water treatment plant (WTP) to meet the water supply demand from Sectors 81-115 in Gurugram under Phase I at an estimated cost of Rs 631.8 million. 

Besides, about 40 per cent work on the Chandu Budhera (Gurugram) Water Supply Project (Unit 5) has been completed and is likely to be fully completed by December 2025.

The scope of work involves augmentation of WTP by construction of a 100 million litre per day (mld) capacity Unit-5 at an estimated cost of Rs 610 million.

Additionally, two boosting stations, one in Sector 72 and other Gwal Pahari, are also under construction and are likely to be operational by September 2025 and March 2026, respectively.
