The Government of Punjab has inaugurated the Mohali Sector 83 Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Project on July 7, 2025.
The project involved construction of a 10 million litre per day (mld) STP, 15 mld main pumping station and 5 mld TTP and upgradation of existing 10 million gallons per day (mgd) at sector 83 to 15 mgd.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1.45 billion.
