A total of 14 firms have submitted bids for preparation of detailed project report (DPR) and tender document for the 50 mld Thane Tertiary Treatment Plant Project in Maharashtra. Bids for the same were invited by Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) in May 2025.
The firms include: Acotech Consultants Private Limited, C C Patel and Associates Private Limited, Exceltech Consultancy and Projects Private Limited, Green Design and Engineering Services Private Limited, MSV International Inc., NJS Engineers India Private Limited (NJSEI), Primove Infrastructure Development Consultants Private Limited, Sapient Techno Consultants, Shah Technical Consultants Private Limited (STC), The Nisarga Consultancy, Unity IE World Private Limited, US Aquatreat Private Limited, Waternet Consulting Services Private Limited, and Yash Engineering Consultants Private Limited.
The scope of the project includes surveillance studies of existing sewage treatment plants, analyzing treated sewage water/effluent, establishing methodology for permissions for piped non-potable water supply, surveying suitable land parcels for construction of tertiary treatment plants, identifying consumers for reuse of treated water, preparing all necessary drawings and designs, designing innovative types of structures with automation and cost-effective solutions and designing of major components of treated water supply scheme pipeline.
The work is likely to be completed in 12 months.
