Government of Maharashtra (GoM) has planned construction of two new Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) at VNIT and Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV).
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been assigned with the task to prepare a technical report for the same.
The scope of the project includes construction of two Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) at VNIT and PDKV in Nagpur district of Maharashtra to reduce pollution in Nag River. GoM suggested adopting the Dharavi model for construction of these STPs.
