B.R.Goyal Infrastructure Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,020.5 million for development of underground sewerage system (UGSS) in left-out areas and added areas of Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. The firm will work as a subcontractor for Kevadiya Construction Private Limited, which received the contract from the Namakkal Municipal Corporation in January 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of collection system including house service connections (HSCs), pumping stations, pumping mains and lift stations and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) for five years.
The work is likely to be completed in 36 months at an estimated cost of Rs 1,724.9 million. It is being implemented under the World Bank (WB) assisted Tamil Nadu Urban Development Project (TNCRUDP) along with the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0.
