KVR Construction Heights Private Limited has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for implementation of Chikkanayakanahalli Water Supply Improvement Project in Karnataka under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. The firm quoted an amount worth Rs 590 million. Bids for the same were invited by Karnataka Urban Water Supply and Drainage Board (KUWSDB) in January 2025.
The scope of work involves rehabilitation of existing jackwell, 2.27 mld water treatment plant (WTP), three OHT and rehabilitation of jackwell at kundur and repair work for raw water rising main from kundur jack well to Chikkanayakanahalli Lake – MS pipe, construction of 4.50 mld capacity water treatment plant (WTP), Providing, Laying, Jointing, Testing and Commissioning of feeder main of length 4.2 km, HDPE pipe distribution system of length 70.51 km and 5069 house service connections including operation and maintenance (O&M) of five years and defect liability period (DLP) of one year.
The work is likely to be completed in 24 months on Design, Build, Operation And Transfer (DBOT) mode.
