A total of three firms have submitted bids for development of Chiplun water supply scheme (WSS) in Ratnagiri district under the Maharashtra Suvarn Jayanti Nagarotthan Maha-Abhiyan. These are joint venture (JV) of Shramgatha Associates-M/s Pragati Construction, JV of Santosh Construction and Infra Private Limited-Bhairav Electro-Mechanical Works and Vijayoti Construction. Bids for the same were invited by the Chiplun Municipal Council on September 5, 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of raw/pure water rising or gravity main pipeline, pumping machinery, ground service reservoir, water treatment plant (WTP), distribution system, supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation and other related works.
The work is likely to be completed in 24 months at an estimated cost of Rs 1,243.5 million.
