A total of three firms submitted bids for development of underground drainage (UGD) project at Chandwad, Maharashtra. These are Bhugan Infracon Private Limited, Krishna Constructions and P. Das Infrastructure Private Limited. Bids for the same were invited by the Chandwad Municipal Corporation in December 2023.
The scope of project involves working survey, construction of rising main pipelines, 6.5 million litres per day (mld) sewage treatment plant (STP), sewage pumping station, pumping machinery, collection system and other related infrastructure with three months trial run and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of one year .
The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,195.96 million.
