The joint venture (JV) of P.C. Snehal Construction Company – M/s On Site has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the Barut Water Supply Reorganisation Scheme in Uttar Pradesh. The firm quoted an amount of Rs 639.99 million. Besides, O. P. Gupta Contractors Private Limited and R K Engineers Sales Limite emerged as L2 and L3 bidders by quoting amounts of Rs 693.76 million and Rs 708.28 million, respectively. Bids for the same were invited by the Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (UPJN) in July 2023.
The scope of work includes surveying, soil investigation, design and supply of all materials, labour etc. .for the construction of six overhead tanks (OHTs), pump house, staff quarter, boundary wall, gates, site development, supply of all materials, for laying and jointing of rising main of 22 km, distribution system of 170 km including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation, commissioning testing, trial and run and defect liabilities.
The work is likely to be completed in 21 months.
