MCC to reduce sewerage cess on water from 30 per cent to 10 per cent

Currently, on a bill of Rs 2,500 plus, the sewerage cess is Rs 750 (30 per cent of the water bill). If approved by the Chandigarh administration, this cess will be reduced to Rs 250 (10 per cent) on a bill of Rs 2,500 plus.
